rince William has opened up about his eldest son, Prince George. George, who is second in line to the throne, already seems to be surpassing his father in some areas.
And the Prince of Wales, 43, isn’t afraid of admitting that George, 12, is quite the dab hand at one particular subject.

Prince William reveals Prince George’s keen interest
Last week, Prince William starred in a new interview with Schitt’s Creek actor Eugene Levy, as part of Apple TV+’s show, The Reluctant Traveler.
It was here that William shared a glimpse into the future king’s interests.
During the episode, William gave Levy a tour of Windsor Castle.
There, they looked at “not particularly tall” Henry VIII’s armour. Wills then joked: “George, my son, is way better in history than I am, and I have to check with him now on my dates.”
What George studies at his prestigious school, Lambrook in Berkshire, is not public.
However, the national curriculum for pupils of his age for history has previously featured topics including the Norman Conquest and the Black Death.
Other topics could also include the French Revolutionary Wars and World Wars I and II.
It seems Prince George is also walking in the footsteps of the Princess of Wales.
Kate studied Art History at the University of St Andrews. Wills and Kate both initially studied history of art together, before Prince William switched to geography.
They both achieved 2:1 degrees.

Prince George’s studies
“I think it’s fascinating that Prince George appears to have such a keen interest in history, particularly given he will one day be heir and then King,” online Royal Correspondent for Hello, Danielle Stacey said.
“Earlier this year, he joined the Prince and Princess of Wales for the veterans’ tea party at Buckingham Palace to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, and we know that the young Prince asked the veterans about their wartime experiences. He may also be following in his grandfather, the king’s footsteps, as Charles studied History, Archaeology, and Anthropology at Trinity College, Cambridge.”
Prince George’s curriculum is likely very varied.
He will be offered classes in English, Maths, French, Science, Latin, Greek, Geography, ICT, Art, Design & Technology, Drama, Music, RS, PE, Swimming, and Games, according to Lambrook’s website.
As he is in Year 8, Prince George may also attend attend Saturday school, followed by sports in the afternoon.
Prince George’s love of rugby
Earlier this year, Prince William also explained how Prince George is very fond of Rugby.
Whilst chatting to injured players at a rugby match in March, William said: “At weekends we go from one competition to the next. Louis is six, and he’s just started touch rugby, and George is 11, and he plays a bit more. They do really enjoy it.”
