George will hit a big milestone in 2026
On Thursday (October 9), the Princess of Wales, 43, visited a Home-Start centre in Oxford. The visit came after she wrote an essay about the impact technology is having on children and people in general.
The princess visited the centre to see how it helps parents and young children to build strong relationships and overcome challenges.

Kate Middleton visits Oxford
For some time now, Prince George’s education has been speculated about. He’s in his final year at Lambrook School in Berkshire.
All three of Kate and Prince William’s children attend the school. However, next year, 12-year-old George will move on to the next stage of his education when he turns 13.
She said George is 12 years old and would soon be starting secondary school.
Which school he’ll attend next hasn’t yet been confirmed. However, according to reports, William and Kate may have decided on Eton College – where William attended when he was the same age.
Now, the Princess of Wales has made a rare comment on George’s next phase of education.

Kate shares update on Prince George’s school future
During her Oxford visit, Kate spoke to sisters Mariam Namakula and Sumayya Nabatanzi, both from Oxford.
They were joined by their combined five children, who were running around enjoying themselves.
Speaking afterwards, as reported by HELLO!, Ms Namakula said: “She was enjoying herself with the kids and said ‘the messier it is, the better the fun.’
“Kate was saying Charlotte enjoys the outdoors and doing activities, and making things and how her kids are growing up fast. She said George is 12 years old and would soon be starting secondary school.”

Which school is Prince George going to?
Next year, when he turns 13, Prince George will be heading to secondary school.
The school choice hasn’t yet been confirmed by the Prince and Princess of Wales. They reportedly visited a number of the country’s best schools, including both Eton and Marlborough College – which Kate herself attended. They reportedly visited Eton as early as 2023, too.

According to reports, they may have decided on leading boys’ school, Eton. Both William and George’s uncle, Prince Harry, attended Eton.
William joined in 1995, while Harry enrolled in 1998.
But we’ll have to wait and find out where William and Kate have decided to enroll George!
